Plummet

Woah, 8 degrees C - now that's a massive drop in temperature over just a few days. We had the last swim of the summer in our unheated pool just a week ago. Today, though bright, it's windy and decidedly autumnal. Time to get the logs stacked ready for winter fires.

After the relentless heat of the summer I'm very grateful for the contrast in food, clothes, energy and sleep that this change of season brings.
