Without Malice

By aforethought

Endless Depths

It seems this week's study is of eyes. It was not intentional; more pre-medicated than premeditated.

Eyes are fascinating things. Windows into our souls, apparently, but certainly reflections of our mood. It's very difficult to hide behind your eyes like you might a smile or a frown.

But these eyes are fragile things, struggling with age, and susceptible to damage!

I had considered laser eye correction to fix my need for glasses - the result, so my optician informed me, of a car crash in my late teens! It would be nice to be free of the ear draped ocular assistants once again. But...

I have been told that laser correction needs done again after 10 to 15 years! That seems an extraordinarily short lifespan for the treatment given the cost and discomfort involved. So now I am in a quandary.

In the meantime I will just continue with my study. The eyes have it!
