After a grey start to the day the sun came out just before lunchtime and after lunch we sat in the square in Anwick drinking coffee which we bought from the Italian Prima Deli (not Melvyn's - the photo is misleading).

I've chosen this photo, not because it was the best but because this was the highlight of my mums week and something that she spoke about on numerous occasions as the week went on. Any of you who know the North East of England will appreciate that the weather doesn't usually lend itself to cafe culture, especially in October.
