Afternoon tea... why,don't mind if I do.........

Two babies off school..... Lucy was croupy last night,sounded like a sealion at one stage,I nearly threw her some prawns (all I have.... I don't have any fish,fish)
Eve still not tip top and I NEVER send my children to school under par to infect anyone else,you need 48 hours after a tummy bug before you are considered clear,however she is still not right so at this rate she won't be back at school till after half term !!! Did not stop her having a cookie though ;)
Done LOADS... soaked the fruit in brandy last night and made the cake today,now I want to eat it...... I am always amazed any cake makes it till Christmas in this house,but they do 'just' ....SO TO COUNTERACT THIS..I am going to make another one :D .. then I whipped out the paintbrushes and began another section of paintwork in the hallway,its going to take bloody ages at this rate... HOWEVER Mr W has said yes to getting someone in to do the ceilings and coving stuff.
School parents evening for Eve tonight at 5.50,I don't really need to go as she is a treasure and I do work up at the school sometimes so I know she isn't a turd... but I like her teacher and I shall check out some new work of hers,Eves,not the teachers ;)
