Typical Scottish baronial highland castle. Except that it isn't, it's part of Edinburgh University Pollock Halls of residence, with Arthur's Seat in the background.

I blipped this before setting off on my first ever CTC ride today. It was a stunning morning, bright and blustery, but for some reason I left my camera behind. So no blips of the sun on Duddingston Loch or the turning leaves, and none of the sea at Portobello. Ah well, I'll know better next time. It was a very short ride, only 12 miles, so I hope I can make the move up to forty miles next Sunday.

Got stuck into the garden in the afternoon (Mrs BrB had been at it all morning) - gave the hedges a severe trim and did a great deal of tidying up. Enjoyed another episode of Treme in the evening.
