Rough handling

I suppose I'm as guilty as the next person for not seeing (as opposed to looking at) things I use regularly.

This caught my eye today as being one of those. It's the latch to my garden shed.

At some stage it has been painted blue and what looks like a gold colour, but for some time now it's been languishing unattended - quietly rusting.

The shed needs a coat of TLC too...
