Dont Stop Believing
No, I'm not going to talk about the song made famous by Journey.
Today Rugby fanatics across Wales and the UK came out in force to support the Welsh Rugby Team in the World Cup Semi Finals.
Sadly, the dream that could have been was not meant to be. For the most part people will put this down to the referee, Alain Rolland. There will be a lot of talk about whether he should or shouldn't have given our Captain, Sam Warburton, the red card, but he did, the game is over and we should now focus on what our boys have achieved.
Wales last made the semi final of the World Cup in 1987 having beaten England. They were beaten 49-6 by New Zealand. Today they played most of the game with 14 men and despite losing 8-9 they can hold their heads high and be proud. Some would say that perhaps if our boys hadn't played so good and the final score was not that tight then the blow would have been that much easier to take.
Yes, we all wanted a win but when those lads get back to God's Country we should give them the welcome home they deserve and show them that despite today's outcome, they are still our top team.
When in Swansea today I noticed that the Grand Theatre was flying the Welsh flag - who needs Downing Street??
Roll on 6 Nations - now that should be exciting.
