Breakdancing

This is Katie in her first dance-off this afternoon.

It's been a fabulous but also eventful day. We had a really brilliant time at swimming, she was full of it. She loved that they got to do swimming under the water through hoops today. She played hide and seek, with the children hiding under the water. That she thought was hilarious. She didnt want to sit on the steps and kick, so she swam away. Literally.

We popped to the playcentre as the lady wanted me to look over their new leaflet. We walked through the door and Katie threw up over the carpet. So we didnt stay and play, oddly enough. Their first vomiting incident! She was absolutely fine afterwards and I put it down to her being too warm in the car, perhaps too much water swallowing, so we headed off to the party we were going to.

We got part way on the journey and she spectacularly threw up over herself, the (new) car and her carseat. Well and truly christened. She fell asleep very soon after. I'd have turned round and gone home but we were closer to the party, so I thought we'd drop the present off and apologise. But the family said they were happy for us to stay, as she'd woken up and was bright as a button! I'm glad we did because she has been fine since, ate some party food, and wasnt sick again, so who knows what was wrong!

She was quite uncertain by the big group of children that she didnt know, and the huge bouncy castle creeped her out. But come time to dance, she had such a lot of fun. And started breakdancing in the middle of the dance floor.
