The red and the blue

The sloes look black in this shot but most of them are a lovely dark dusty blue. Good for making sloe gin, brandy and what you will. The hawthorn berries are plentiful this year too and some of them have gone a very dark red already.

Today was very bright and warm again. N back to Bristol for a few days and T power-harrowing where the corn has been planted. I went and had coffee with our neighbours' parents who are looking after their little granddaughter in their absence. T and I then went to PC World to renew his old laptop that has suddenly died a death. It was at least five years old and he had had it all through college ....
