Ladies who Lunch

I think I have probably used this title before, possibly several times, in my journal, but today is my first official semi-retired Ladies who Lunch lunch so it deserves a place in the archive. We were surrounded by ladies lunching today and this prompted a conversation about how men would never do such a thing - they may have a business lunch or meet at the pub, but lunch and catch-up, we don't think so.

Once again we were in the Potting Shed at the local garden centre, although this is the posher outside, inside bit.

From the left the pals are: Laura with her sardonic 'not the camera again' face on, and a very nifty hat; Marie (over from Tenerife - good to see you Marie! Sorry we couldn't arrange the weather for you!), Helen (now fully retired so we've been discussing potential walks) and Verity, fellow photographer! Special people x
