Ring the Changes

For some strange reason whenever I return from holiday I get a strong urge to tidy up my bedroom and chuck stuff out.

This time I decided to take my historic mobile phones down to a local phone shop for recycling. Before they met their fate I thought I'd take a shot of them, together with my most current phone.

How things have changed!

The phone on the left was the first mobile I ever owned and was also one of the first things I bought when I arrived in NZ in 2001. Note how I kept the screen protector on! It may not look much but it lasted over six years - I'll be happy if my latest one lasts half the time.
