Carpet

Rain. That's what it did today, perfect timing for laying carpet. At least it wasn't too hard - more showers.

As explained yesterday, Sunday involved moving furniture, ripping old carpet up, and refixing the floorboards with 800 screws it turned out. No wonder I am somewhat tired today!

Due to weather and late arrival of the carpet the install started later than expect, although he did manage to get 2 bedrooms and the living areas complete - so we could move most of the furniture back in. Tomorrow is the remainder, including my office, which now has only a desk and a computer. I am about to rip both out, and the carpet.

The kids of course loved an empty house and madly ran from end to end, screaming. Which gets amplified when there is no carpet to absorb the noise.

I have nearly recovered ;-)
