Breakfast

Today is Mrs PS's birthday so we all went out for breakfast at a place we'd never been, "Under the Red Verandah".

There's always some trepidation when you go somewhere new, will it be as good as XXXX? It was, in fact it was fantastic. A great way to start the day when you are forty something years old ;-)

Then ... a friend took the kids for the day because ...

Our mission today is move all the furniture outside, rip the carpet up, and then refasten all the floorboards before the carpet layers arrive at 8am tomorrow. It's going to be a late night. And we've had to cover the furniture, we've had a few rain showers.

I am blipping early as the computer is next to go ... Can you imagine how complex it is to dissemble your entire office, especially when you work in IT, and there are gadgets and cables everywhere. Might have to "rationalise" a few ;-)

Might be a couple of days before we see you again ;-)
