Shoo-fly Plant
Seed pods of the shoo-fly plant Nicandra physaloides. Quite like the complicated shape of these things which split to release the seeds. Mrs P has already harvested some the pods for drying indoors before, Onan-like, they spill their seed on the ground. There are still a few flowers on the plants as well but not in this shot. The plants have insect-repellant properties, hence their name.
