Time for a snooze

I managed to fit in a walk around the neighborhood and into Olde Montgomery this morning, in between finishing off the packing and doing last minute odds and ends before our trip up to Canada. This swan had been busy preening herself - she was surrounded by feathers, but then settled down for a little snooze! Our flight was mid-afternoon. We were flying with United via Chicago to Burlington, Vermont - much cheaper than flying to Montreal or Quebec. We always get a bit nervous about flying United through Chicago, as we have had a bad experience there, and know several other people who have too, but today things went smoothly, and we had time to get something to eat in Chicago. It was late when we arrived in Burlington so we were spending the night there, then driving up to Quebec City tomorrow morning.
