Just a Boy and His Dog

Chris and I took Schuck out to Kelly Island today for some much-deserved play time. We got a glimpse of rare but beautiful Montana fall weather after a week of non-stop rain, so it was a perfect day to get outside. Here, we were trying to re-create an old picture of Chris and Schuck where he was throwing a stick and Schuck was watching him intently..but my camera is slow. So here you go.

After hiking through the woods, doing headstands on fallen trees and practicing Schuck's retrieving skills through a few rounds of hide-and-seek, we called it a day to rest up for tomorrow's epic undertaking...
