The Royal Scotsman

I spent from 10am - 4pm on platform 14 at Waverley Station today.

I was with Damain and his art class. This is the next part of the 'Journey' theme.
It was a rather cold and noisy place to be, but Art takes over and it's amazing how you can get engrossed in wondering what the back end of a train looks like or how far through the tunnels you can see tracks.
I wore a Visitor Pass badge and as I took out some small change (well, these days it's a lot more than a penny) for the loos, I was summoned by the attendant to wander freely in, no charge.
I felt like Royalty ...........but as the Piper piped the passengers on board the Royal Scotsman I knew my rank was very minor. There was no champagne put in my hands!
