Stamp End

This is Stamp End in Lincoln. One would imagine if you wished to purchase some heroin, you'd probably be succesful in this area. The tower block is Shuttleworth House, a place which we delivered to twice today. The first delivery was a complete kitchen, the second was a 3m length of worktop. The address was 95. I'm guessing someone was cursing around the seventh or eighth floor. I happen to know 95 is on the 13th floor.... I used to frequent 97. Not to buy heroin though.

Lincoln sacked their manager tonight. It's fairly big news and another chapter in the tragedy / comedy that is the story of my football club. Nothing surprises me with the club these days. To be honest if Lincoln City was all I had (and in the past it has been) then I'd be absolutely gutted tonight, uncomfortable in the knowledge that there is another ten months of 'consolidation' followed by perhaps three months of 'failure' followed by another new manager. Since 2006 we've had Keith Alexander, John Schofield and John Deehan, Peter Jackson, Iffy Onuora (caretaker), Chris Sutton (wanker) and Steve Tilson. In between people such as Simon Clark and Grant Brown have also been caretakers.

It's a joke, only I'm not laughing.

Oh well at least I don't live in Shuttleworth House (or Taliban Towers as it was called unofficially in 2001).
