Tunnel Vision

I've seen this tunnel in the blips of others, but until today I'd never been through it - and I live VERY close to it too!

It runs under Rodney Street and comes out just next to Tesco on Broughton Road, a reminder of the city's rail network that's long been consigned to history.

I find reading about the old railways in Edinburgh really interesting - especially the tunnel that runs under Scotland Street all the way up to Waverley Station...

...Guess it beats moaning about the trams...
