Arachnophobia
lots of computer work today, but I insisted that it get done while sitting outside enjoying the beautiful, summer-like afternoon. I had the camera pond-side with me, waiting for some photo opportunities. I almost had a squirrel make it to the waterfall for a drink, but he caught my movement & the picture got a little blurred in the one corner. I had a late season dragonfly but missed him, altogether. Took a couple of nice shots of the mini white rose blossom & the re-blooming Canna, as well as some decent fish shots....but, ultimately, the one that freaked me out the most won: the neon orange spider with black & white legs! His front legs were in motion here, so they aren't completely focused. The web is phenomenally large, so he's not only exotic but quite talented!
