Games Up!

Yesterday lunchtime, after doing a bit of homework, my girl came to ask if I had painted the kitchen! Her quizzical voice gave it away completely:-

'Why - have you been reading my blips?' I asked
'No, not at all' smirks my girl
'What colour was the kitchen?' I enquire
'It was blue' she correctly answers
'And what colour is it now?' I question
'emmmmh. white.... no cream....well purple' she replies

She quickly informed her brother and they both rushed to see what colour it really was. Blooming useless. However, given that both my children, WhiperSnap and Dancing Shoes had commented on my blips over the last 5 days and hadn't realised the kitchen had been painted I think I win hands down.

I have been head down and busy with homework myself. I have 10 portraits to deconstruct and put back together again. Choosing them in the first place is very hard and time consuming. I have been rather taken by Nadav Kander's portrait of David Lynch
and admire all the blue tones running through it. So today, with my limited little microsoft sliders and little time I played about to see what I could do to this gorgeous row of trees. I quite like it, but then again I think I am becoming screen blinded given the time I have spent looking at it over the last 36 hours!
