Paying Attention

I am part of a small group of local women photographers, and tonight was the reception for our fourth annual exhibit. My part is called Reconstructions: a Guide to Paying Attention. I showed a dozen simple collages, crafted from images from this blog, and complimented by handwritten journal entries. The pieces are 17x22 and printed on nice thick Epson velvet paper, which I love. We had a respectable crowd, and I am tickled to report that people stopped and read the blogs. There is something about actual handwriting that is very compelling.
