Wet Pavement

Took this on my way to work. L has moved from the Headingley campus to the city which means that we are now faced with parking problems on the days that she works. On Tuesday we came in extra early but all the places we thought we could park were either full or turned into pay and displays. A permit is nigh on impossible to get at her or my work so I dropped L off and parked again about a mile out and walked in. The upside of such a situation is that I finally have an excuse to own my dream bike, a Brompton folder! Some people don't understand my desires to own such a wonderful piece of engineering and that includes L. After work we visited Edinburgh Cycles to take a look at one they got in for us. Watch this space!

(Of course riding a Brompton in cold miserable and wet weather is still not much fun, but it's a bit more fun than walking).
