Red Admiral

Ooooh I just love these butterflies! I went out to try and get a photo of the Robin but I got side-tracked by this beauty! It basked in the sun on the plum tree and on the ground too, but I liked the blue sky behind it in the shot above so that's my Blip! Incidentally, all of these photos were taken with the zoom lens and not the macro lens.

Skeins of Pink-footed Geese would fly past every few minutes with their calls being the first thing you noticed before you saw them. They are a wondrous sight!

Now I'm off to work a 1-10 shift so I'll have to catch up tomorrow morning xxx
