If you go down to the woods today...

Had a lovely weekend in Norfolk. We went to the Sandringham estate to walk the dogs so we could be shaded from the heat in the woods. Can't believe it's so hot - it's October for goodness sake!

Here Pat is following Max (connected by a long lead), who is following Boots (not on a lead). Being a Beagle Max isn't allowed off the lead often as he can't be trusted. If he gets a scent he's off like the proverbial bat out of hell and can take some time to decide to come back. Boots on the other hand will check back in regularly to round us all up. Note the distance she's keeping...she seems to have sussed the length of Max's lead and keeps a safe distance.
