Rays

What a beautiful evening.

As usual, the forecast was doom and gloom, and during the day I thought that they were finally right. But it was warm, and as the day wore on, the sky got clearer.

I just wish that I had been able to get the true shot of this sky; I have never seen the rays from the sun cover so much of the horizon. However, I don't have a wide angle lens - this is as good as it got.

While out on the road at the front of the house taking the shots, I met various people, visitors and neighbours, and ended up having lots of interesting chats.
