Actual origins

I found the street I lived on as a child on Google maps today. Strangely I've never bothered to look it up before now as when I think if my time there the past is truly a foreign country. Not much if a blip but I did get an unsettled feeling looking at the area I once called home. As you can see, it wasn't a metropolis, and sheep iwere always In the garden chomping on the flowers. The hills and trees were our playground as was a disused colliery, flattened and left for dead, like roadkill. It's all landscaped now and the sheep are fenced in. Funny thing is the place looks totally overgrown and unkempt. The sheep did a good job of keeping things neat and tidy after all.
