Last weeks heatwave was fading fast today, and the Autumn leaves were looking more...well, autumnal. The pattern of this large leaf was particularly graphic.
This was taken in the gardens at Nunnington Hall which as well as being an historic house, has an top floor art gallery with a particular interest in photography. The current exhibition is prints of numerous classic images, called The Photographers, and is well worth seeing (on until October 30th). While the prints are very expensive (£1200 to £12500!) I just bought a couple of photographer profile books at £9.99 each...that's my budget!

Geek note... Taken with my Canon S95, a camera I'm still trying to like, but I think it'll go for the Fuji X10 when it comes out.
