Doocot

After a miserably wet morning, with long queues of traffic caused by the Bupa Run and a rather long church service, when the weather cleared up this afternoon Mr Flum and I went for a wee walk to blow away the cobwebs.

The Hermitage has a variety of paths to follow and we took one on the North side, which runs along the back of what we teasingly call Millionaire's Row. The path passes the old C18 doocot and I couldn't resist taking a flash photo through the wire mesh door, to see a few of the 1965 nest holes. A restoration project is currently in progress.
