I have FINALLY decided what project I will work on in Africa after many months of pondering and research. For a long time I was going to participate in a marine conservation expedition on Madagascar with Blue Ventures. It looks like the opportunity of a lifetime but something just was not sitting right with me. After a lot of thought and consideration I changed my mind completely and just yesterday I was accepted as a volunteer to work on the RUDEC project in Cameroon. I feel much happier about this decision.
