Terrible driver, or 3 would?
Apologies in advance for a soapbox blip.
I've heard said that some take offence to other drivers overtaking middle lane snoozers on motorways and then swinging across them back into the inside lane as if to teach them how it should be done.
Who is it that sits in the middle lane of a motorway at 55-56 miles per hour with nothing in front of them on the inside lane? When there's a gazillion cars speeding down the outside lane, a similar number doing a similar speed behind them on the middle lane and muggins minding his own business doing the speed limit of 70 fast approaching them on the inside lane, boxed in with nowhere to go!
Never mind who he is, why does he have two mates doing exactly the same thing! The first I (eventually) passed was the poor relation, a Citroen people carrier. Next a Bentley no less, chaffeur driven of course, sandwiched in behind a Mercedes 500 CL, or s0me such, also chaffeur driven!
Everyone has to slow right down as the maniacs on the outside lane give in to no-one, I'm completely boxed in as I can't get into the middle lane now, nor want to as a string of cars have to brake to avoid contact as they all concertina up behind the Citroen. One even avoids contact by slipping in behind me, so now we have a veritable car park backing up down the M3 with a bunch of irate drivers....all because three selfish idiots are sat in the middle lane of an otherwise empty two inner lanes in front of them, as far as the eye could see.
I was one of the last cars to pass these three ejits, and not a one had bothered to move into the inside lane at any point, even after I had shown them they way. How there wasn't an accident I have no idea.
I can't be doing with road rage and am generally a pretty considerate driver, says I, but these 3 people should be shot at dawn for at least a week....two of them clearly more money than sense!
My afternoon was spent on the golf course (not playing unfortunately) but walking around with Steven. This shot was not a bad drive, with just a 3 wood.
See if you can spot the ball?
