Cathedral of the Peak

This is 14th-century Church of St John the Baptist in Tideswell known as the Cathedral of the Peak.
Tideswell was recently featured on the TV in a series called Village SOS showing the creation of Taste Tideswell.
Like many other small market villages it has seen many of its shops disappear over the last 20 years so an initiative was set up to reconnect local people with their food and make Tideswell famous as a food destination, it seems to have worked brilliantly and more people than ever now visit a great little Peak District village.
