Messing about in boats

It's called maintenance. Oil filter, oil, gear box oil, and fresh water cleansing. This followed fuel filter,fuel/water filter, sparkplug changes- on our little tin boat (it's Honda 25) in the boat house at the end of our bay. Dragging the big garbage can full of water, with wagon across the beach is no small feat. (there's no water at the boathouse) Also getting the engine prop in there...... is interesting, but possible.
Also had island long time friend for lunch-she is now a raw veggie soul - so, salad was easy. (H and I had dressing and cheese on ours!:-) ) No time to fuss with computer (kind of a pleasure, really)- so played with iPhone effects. The red flag hangs from Islandcat and my double in the boathouse, the other white stern is the quad, both hanging from the rafters. Sigh. Trying a row tomorrow if it's as nice a day as today. Sitting on the beach now in the sun with a glass of prosecco! (also a pleasure with no TV news to compete!)
