The Little Tree That Could
When we moved into this house nine years ago, we planted two dwarf apple trees the same size but different species. One is now twice as tall as the other, and about ten times the volume. This is the smaller of the two. Last year it only produced a couple of apples, while its neighbor had a bumper crop. We were tempted to dig it up and replace it, but decided to give the little guy another chance. I'm glad we did.
