.....Hear the Sunset song........

Went out and drove up into the hills this evening to get a shot of the Sun dropping below the ridge............as you can see........missed the bugger by about 15 minutes! Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

Kind of sums up the day really................full day of five lessons.........Year 8 x 2 on Paralympic Sports and science (Tanni Grey -Thompson and Oscar Pistorius), Year 9 Selective Breeding, Year 10 making slime/silly putty, Year 11 the Patterns of the Periodic Table of Elements. Then, meetings after work....an hour discussing pupils who require mentoring, only to discover we'd been given the wrong list....and of course no-one owned up to the cock up.......then a further meeting on monitoring, marking etc and finally 45 minutes to myself to try and do some of the important things that always get shoved on the back burner because someone wants me to do something else.

Managed 10 minutes with hebs today.....only the second time since we came back to work on Septemnber 5th.

The Boss has just got in clutching some cold beers....think I'll cook her an omelette and have a beer outside in the garden.....and then maybe an early night.
