I heard that your dreams came true.

Mum loves being Gran.

She has five in total, including my two here.

She is not your typical gran, there are stories my son would love to repeat here, but I have been sworn to silence, lest there will be no inheritance.

Her Baby sitting skills are second to none. My nephew, she picked up in his blanket, and put him to her shoulder and he shot out of the blanket and over her shoulder. (No harm done there, he's a policeman now).

When Boy was little, she was watching him over tea one night and admitted that she had fallen asleep while he was in his fixed chair, and when she had woken up - he had been asleep, and face down in his empty plate. "At least it was empty" I said. "Yes", said Gran, "quite amazing that a wee Boy can eat 6 chicken dippers and a tin of beans!" I mean, I know he was a big boy Mum, but 6 chicken dippers for a 2 year old????

Her generousity is second to none, she will help anyone. (Literally. Please don't take advantage of that, if you see her in the street).

And today, to our joint delight, and thanks you to all your fabby votes! She came top of the poll in the Active Gran Competition. A week on Friday, with her littlest Grand-Daughter, Our Toolibelle, she will head to London for a make-over, and photo session and a night in the Park Hotel in London.

Maybe she'll win the top prize! but hey if she doesn't, she and Eilidh will have a really lovely day out!!

Thank you all so much for your votes!
