If you can afford a Princess

...then you can afford my degree; this was the chant from the tiny band of protesters outside Old College today. Princess Anne is being installed as the new chancellor of the Edinburgh University, replacing the role her father held for decades.

As a postgraduate I was allowed access to walk through the newly refurbished grounds, the improvements are superb! I will look forward to using the new quad tomorrow!

Today was a mash of confusion still! It seems the whole year are still in limbo as to what the full time table is? I better feel settled by the end of the week or this yr is doomed to a perpetual haze!

LAPTOP UPDATE: The Dell has died after 2 days, a system 32 hard drive issue! the wonderful Tracy has pushed for it to be replaced immediately! Thank god for helpful staff or this whole process would have been more awful!
