A bit chilly!!

Sorry but a rushed blip tonight ... I have to be up at 5am and I'm NOT a morning person.

Thank you for all your comments yesterday ... it was a lot of fun.

Stayed last night out at our farm which is about 20 minutes away from home. My husband has been building a great house out there ... slowly... but it is getting close to finish.

It was rather chilly last night so he lit the fire. It is an amazing fire that warms the house up very quickly. It also boost the solar hot water heater and as we have tank water, it is great to stand in a hot shower and know there is no heat or water bill!! The house also has hot water heaters that are heated from the same hot water, in every room so it is really a cosy house.

The fire was still burning this morning and as the day started cold and misty, my husband - not Mr Leo today but Grumpy Bear which suits him a little better (he had to leave the farm and go to work. I'm on school holidays) - put another log on the fire (there is an Aussie song about that).

This blip does make the heater look as if it has black measles but it actually has no black on it but is an interesting shade of blue. There is ash on the door shelf. It also has an oven to cook but I haven't used the oven very often as we have another fuel stove in the kitchen.

We hope to permanently move to the farm next year.
