Keep the home fires burning

A cottage on the western Cumbrian coast. That kind with super thick walls. It's got stone stairs and we're here for 5 days. We don't really need an open fire tonight because it's already cosy and warm but Herself wants one. And, as the man, it's my job to a) ensure she is happy and b) make fire.

Five minutes later and every smoke alarm in the place is going off.

Five minutes after that and we've got every window open.

I love it here.
