You don't want to be in there

It's extraordinary what an incoming tide, a storm in the South Atlantic and a southeasterly wind can do.

The elements and a continuous procession of 5m waves are whipping False Bay into (literally) a foam, while the sun shines and the weather is magnificent. What a contrast to the last week's rain, wind and plummeting temperatures.

I know winter is on the way down here on the Southern Tip, but give us a break - it's still supposed to be autumn.
