Bristolwood and Beyond

Riduckulous!

Yes, as we were parked outside Arby's, enjoying our meals with the windows rolled down, a brigade of ducks waddled single file over to the truck to greet us. Well, that is what I like to think, anyway....

This little beggar came right up and began watching us. I hate to admit it, but the little chap got to me, so I hopped out of the truck and walked over to him. I give the fellow credit, as he remained there. (Apparently he has done this before!)

While I generally carry a small bucket of cracked corn in the back of the truck just for such occasions, my bucket had been moved out, so I was reduced to giving this little guy junk food. I was going to break it into small pieces and give it to others as well, but this greedy, er....anxious fellow decided to help himself!

I did get a couple more fries from the truck and distributed them to other ducks that got the idea to beg as well. They soon bedazzled me with their "tricks, namely, catching a fry in mid air! Wow, and I thought my Scotties were talented!

Actually, I think the lad above was just teasing not only his "birds of a feather", but the gulls who came over and squawked and bawled when they discovered there were no goodies left for them!
