Welcoming Autumn

As they say, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!....

Today was as many of our autumn days play out....grey and dismal until the rain begins to fall. Then, it is *very* dismal, indeed! And so I went out with my little camera (and umbrella) and took a photo just so you can see how dreary it is!

The upside to all this is that I am so grateful for the rain. Having only a shallow well, we need the rain to replenish our water supply! I really dislike calling the water man and having a load of water delivered.

Another bonus? No one seems to mind when one isn't busy all day long on dark and dreary days!
