INSET
Had a pretty good day generally, sunk a little lower now but as a whole it was really nice.
We had the day off of school today as it was an inset. And I was quite glad cause I didn't leave school till 9pm yesterday because of open day. (sorry about the lack of blip, I fell asleep mid post. backblipped) So anyways, it was good to have a bit of a lie in. Then when I did get up, everyone had gone so I just wandered about, had some breakfast and then got dressed.
Then around 1.30ish I gathered all my stuff together and head off to the station to get to barnham. I went paintballing for my friend's 18th birthday. There were about 15 of us, and it was great fun. I've been before, but it was nicer this time, because it was just us on the course. Last time there were a fair few strangers too. After a good few hours of paintballing though we went down to the Oystercatcher for a meal afterwards. However unfortunately I had to get picked up from there because today was my blood donatingg.
It was a bit of a shame to have to leave early but had to stick to my commitments really :/ So I rushed back home and grabbed my stuff to go down to the hosital with mum. However when it came to actually 'donating' my blood was in no such rush to get anywhere. It took the nurse a while to find the vein, and when actually found one. The flow kept starting and stopping, and after a lot of fidding about, and other nurses trying to get it to work. We gave up. Feel a little bit inadequate now, not sure why. But it's not all that reassuring when your arm refuses to bleed.
Never mind i'll try again next time. And the little blood I did manage to squeeze out can be used for testing and stuff apparently which is good. At least it's not going to waste. Anyways I took this photo quickly on the way back from paintballing. Obviously I couldn't take any photos while actually paintballing and I actually left my camera in Josh's car for the day anyways so I couldn't get it out had I wanted to. Never mind though, cause I had a pretty good day.
