Ofsted.
This is a photo of my thumb. Why you may ask? I'm not quite sure.
It was a bit of a bland day today, not a great deal happened. Ofsted inspections are happening in school today and tomorrow though so a lot of the teachers have gone into hyper mode. This is where they stand at the doors to their classrooms smiling and welcoming their beloved students into their classrooms. This obviously is an everyday occurrence ;) It's more likely they would be whispering 'tuck your shirt in' as people stroll in to take their seats.
One inspector lady however was watching our Art lesson this afternoon and was being particularly mean and horrible to our teacher. It was quite hard to watch because she was being sneakily vicious. I hate the way these people are digging around for the negatives and interviewing students in an attempt to trick them into 'dishing the dirt'. It's not quite right. This lady completely ignored our teacher's excellent progress sheet, which shows us the specific task, what went well, where it could be improved, an effort grade etc. But decided to focus on the fact that our predicted grade in the top right corner hadn't been filled in. When infact this data hasn't been distributed yet!
Anyways that's my rant over. The rest of the day went fairly well, orchestra and swing band seemed to go nicely too. It was one of those days when I play and it sounds instantly good. Those are the best days. However as I already mentionned, albeit unnecessarily, this is my thumb. The only other pictures I have from today is where my friend ollie borrowed my camera to take pictures of his work in art today. Didn't feel like posting them, however nice they were!
