Portrait

Unbelievably lazy blip tonight.

At the end of a tiring week, with Thursdays being the longest day, Friday evening is a difficult time for me to blip. Not through a lack of subjects but more a lack of energy.

Having been to the Hungarian 20th Century photography exhibition on Tuesday I've been thinking about how they composed their images. Landscapes often had no horizon. Portrait shots were cropped right down to the face only.

So here we have it. Very simple processing, hi contrast in curves then slightly underexposed and thats it.

I do like mono for portrait work, skin tones are often uneven and distracting.

I'm quite pleased with this one, especially how little time and energy it took.
