Glass ceiling?

Another DIY day at the MBH. There was sanding, painting, cleaning and shopping for beams and dado rails. The beams are, as is probably obvious, to close up the large hole between Katherine's bedroom and the attic.

Interspersed through the day were many conversations with our electrician about doorbells, tumbling pillars (who attaches a pillar with glue?), and birds' nests (in the pillars). Also a nice visit from our neighbour to inspect the works; he seemed impressed with all we have (Mr B has) done.

Now, dinner and a movie. We're venturing into the scarier Harry Potter movies with the kids - number 4 tonight.
