The 'Murder House'

I've been meaning to shoot this place for ages. Not done a particularly good job to be honest, but I hope you can get an idea of what a beautiful building it is - the stained glass is lovely, the railings are fantastic - and if the roof-dome was still there it would be very striking! Just by the University, so I walk past every day as do hundereds of students!

Sadly this house was the site of a double-murder - don't know the details, sometime after the Second World War, but quite a while ago - can't be more specific than that! I believe the building was bought quite recently having been derelict for years - rumour has it that it cost £2-300k! Wonderful location, large building.... But the renovation costs are so high (again, rumoured at around £1m) that nothing's been done to it.

Shame, I say - this has the potential to be one of the loveliest buildings in this part of town.
