MY 100th BLIP
MY 100th BLIP
Can't quite believe I have reached this number. My first blip was on 7th June- my 60th birthday - and the time has passed so quickly. I missed a few days at the beginning but now I try to do my " one a day ".
I am really enjoying my blipping and I always get a bit excited when I see there have been comments on my photos.
Thanks to everyone who has been following and commenting on my " memories of Douglas" . Recalling happy occasions, choosing items to photograph and reading all the lovely comments have really helped me in the time leading up to the 29th September which will be the 10th anniversary of his death.
I see a lot of folk on here who have upgraded their camera but I have downgraded since June. I bought a cheap camera for my son Neil to take on his travels but he wasn't keen on it so said he wouldn't bother taking a camera at all. Couldn't let that happen so I gave him my camera. Cheap camera seems to be doing an OK job for me.
My blip today has some connection to Douglas as these coins belonged to his father who died in 1998 at the ripe old age of 93. When Douglas and I were clearing out his house we found pre-decimal coins in every drawer, on every shelf and in every conceivable container. We found hundreds.
