Woodland Path
Today really was a working day on the land, we were busy reclaiming a small field, which was being lost to brambles. Then we began cutting sods of grass to finish the turf roof on the retreat shed, it was hard work, throwing the sods and buckets of earth onto the roof. At the end of the day the donkeys got their bowl of apples and we walked on through the woodlands, the trees here were planted sixteen or so years ago, they are now mature enough, that the area really feels like a small wood. Once a year the pathway through gets cut, I thought it looked very inviting, in the dappled sunlight.
