Grass Growth!

This is one variety of several that have cultured themselves on the grass in my back garden! During the summer I didn't cut the grass when I was away for the 5 weeks - and when I came back, I cut the grass and fungi -

Result - many strange species and an odd looking "lawn". The rather wet and mizzly weather is helping them to thrive ...

One of my close colleagues had a health scare today - it has affected me all day and I feel sad that I can't let him know that I am thinking of him....until my card arrives tomorrow!

The VERY weird thing is that I drove past his house yesterday (which is very out of the way, but I had chosen that route to take to go home because of the weather - and I rarely choose this route) , and I hesitated. He would have been home because I was quite late - and yet there was only the "L" plate car.

I did wonder where they were...little did I know.
